Change your DNS provider

Changing your DNS Provider

  1. Connect your device to the TP-Link TD-VG5612 Modem/Router.
    This can be via a wired or wireless connection.

  2. From your web browser, enter the URL http://192.168.0.1/ or http://192.168.1.1/

  3. You should see the login screen:
  4. Login using the default username and password:
    username: admin
    password: admin

  5. Click "Network" then select "LAN Settings" from the left hand side menu. 
     

  6. You will be directed to the LAN Settings page. 


  7. Update the DNS Server fields highlighted above to:
    DNS Server:   1.1.1.1
    Secondary DNS Server:   8.8.8.8

  8. Click Save.
