Change WiFi Password on Archer VR1600v (Premium Modem)

  1. Log into your modem using the web url and admin login. The default details are:
    Web URL: http://tplinkmodem.net/
    Username: admin
    Password: admin

  2. Click on Wireless from the left hand menu.

  3. Under Network Name (SSID) set your desired network name.

  4. Under Password set your desired password.

  5. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for both the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz Wireless Network sections.

  6. Click Save.
If you are currently connected to your modem using WiFi, you will be disconnected when you click save and will need to reconnect.
We recommend using a different WiFi network name for the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz Wireless Networks.
