Setup Netcomm NF17ACV for nbn Fibre to the Node

Before you begin
Make sure you have your internet connection username and password on hand.

Setup your modem
  1. Connect the phone cable from the from the phone/nbn outlet to the DSL port on the back of the modem.
  2. Connect the modem to power and turn it on.
  3. Connect your computer to the modem either through the LAN network cable or via WiFi.
    The default Wi-Fi password can be found on the the back of your modem.

Add connection details
  1. From your computer, log into the web interface of your modem.
    You can do this by opening an internet browser and typing 192.168.20.1 into the address bar.
  2. Click on Basic Setup

  3. Select VDSL and click the Next button.
  4. Select PPP Over Ethernet (PPPoE) and click Next.

  5. Select No VLAN Tag and click Next.
  6. In the User ID and Password fields enter the username and password we have provided you.
  7. Click Finish when done, you may need to wait 10-15 minutes before your modem finishes connecting to the internet.
